HOW THIS BOOK CAN HELP YOU

In the fierce entrepreneurial arena, there is a constant demand for quality business guidance that delivers refreshed views on fundamentals and is supported by forward-looking real-case insights.

My unique business & coaching style is based on a long-term motivation establishment through a structured and disciplined approach, which is highly influenced by my lifetime dedication to judo.

This is the very reason I published Business Kodokan - to help leaders & entrepreneurs make decisive calls & strong business cases through a disciplined approach inspired by judo. Because I believe of that by sharing knowledge we collectively and individually become stronger, much more well-prepared and realistically motivated to push the boundaries of our ideas towards entrepreneurial as well as personal success.

Once you master proposed business success considerations, you will be able to identify & realise strong long-term potentials.

CHAPTERS

CHAPTER 1

Know your market niche and competitors

In this chapter, I uncover what I consider to be the most critical questions an entrepreneur and business development managers should ask before even considering committing to a business potential.

CHAPTER 4

Cross-functional

collaboration

This chapter focuses on how to prepare yourself (and your business) for appropriate project management and how to master your team collaboration skills.

CHAPTER 2

Financial & legal

considerations

This chapter explores the financial considerations to which business people should pay the strictest attention. It starts with setting a realistic income generation level. This involves thinking about relevant costs your business might face at different points in time, from conducting initial market research and defining the development budget to closing the business.

CHAPTER 5

Have a plan B and an exit strategy

In this chapter, I focus on business exit considerations, which should not be avoided, as these protect businesses in cases where something goes wrong. This may involve anything from recurring delayed invoice pay-outs to third-party inability to follow the contract terms. It is also wise to be prepared for the right moment to exit the business through sale (or divestiture) to parties interest in your established business.
