Dr Mihails Kuznecovs is a corporate strategist, business developer and team motivator across energy, renewables, healthcare and real estate development. He is an experienced Board Member.
He has partnered with CEOs and worked for well-established global companies, including RES Ltd., Itera Latvija Ltd., Synecta JSC, Dufry AG, Dostav, AFRY, Block CRS, Elanor, Gulfcrafts, Ertibat Engineering and Zurich Insurance Qatar.
Mihails’s further interest in forming political and business relationships led to the establishment of the Czech-Qatar Chamber of Commerce, where he created the strategic business platform between the two countries in the areas of energy and healthcare development.
Further, he has established Ersteberg Ltd., with the aim to provide well thought intuitive and tailored strategic, business and project advisory to companies.
Same time, he has championed Business Kodokan, which ultimate aim is to support aspiring entrepreneurs in their business journeys.
To strengthen his professional knowledge, he earned a PhD in economics from Brunel University (London, UK). He holds a PhD in Economics and an MSc in Business Finance from Brunel University in the UK, an MSc in Banking Finance from Loughborough University and an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Latvia. He regularly publishes briefs on strategic and business issues and provides mentorship and coaching.
Mihails possesses strong understanding of budgeting, balance sheets, cash flow and income statements, capital planning and Board reporting. He has established excellent stakeholder management skills and able to communicate complex matters in a consise manner. He understands the mindset of shareholders and investors. To add to this, he is accustomed to be a primary spokesman and well-respected among the business partners and the industry.
He is an advocate of professional and personal development and regularly publishes business briefs and provides mentorship.
To remain mentally and physically strong, Mihails is active in fitness and he is a judo black belt, a 2nd dan holder and accredited by the British Judo Association. During his university years, he was a captain of the Loughborough University judo team and helped to coach younger students. Further, he regularly organised and led master classes for the Brunel University judo team.
He speaks fluent English, Russian and Latvian, comprehensive Czech and basic German.
